Note:  The front door of Kate's house and her bed were in bad directions for both her and her husband.  They also had a lot of stress inside and outside the house that we cleared with the dowsing.  The combination of moving the bed (since you can't move the front door) and dowsing can bring very positive changes very quickly.

"I would never have thought of myself as a person who would be a good feng shui candidate.  I had heard of feng shui, but thought that is was a “new age” like concept that had more to do with aesthetics than something that could effect a positive change in a person’s life.  Having recently met Chriss Barr and listened to her background, and her informative explanation of the art of feng shui and dowsing, I became intrigued.   Chriss came to our home, “dowsed” it (everyone should have this done), and then did a feng shui analysis. 

It has only been a short time since Chriss made her recommendations, which my wife and I immediately implemented, but I have seen some beneficial changes.  Here is one.  Apparently everyone has a “best direction” and it is important that the headboard of their bed be directed toward that direction.  My daughter Rebecca’s best direction is west but her headboard was directed south.  The day Chriss counseled us that we should change Becca’s room around my wife did so.  Becca was gone for the day and this was done without her knowledge or consent…a risky move if you knew our daughter.  When she came back that evening and saw her room she was ecstatic.

Our daughter is a wonderful kid, but she can be stoic and moody at times, and at these times we have found it best to “let her be”.  She has a difficult schedule with school work, basketball, competitive springboard diving and a job.  I have always attributed her moodiness to her feeling overwhelmed by her schedule and the pressure of performing well which she has done and will be attending BrownUniversity next fall.  It is not my imagination that since we changed her bed direction, Becca has been a different person.  My wife and I have noticed a marked change in her attitude.  She is more outgoing, she seems to be socializing more with friends, and she just smiles more.  Is Becca’s change due to feng shui?  I can't prove it, but her bed will remain in its current direction.
